The short version

We collect what the tools need to work and nothing else. No ad tracking, no selling data, no third-party analytics scripts following you around.

What we collect

  • Account — your email address, and your name if Google provides it.
  • Study data — the subjects you pick, your tracker progress, and settings you save.
  • Essay writer inputs and outputs — the prompts, passages, and settings you submit, and the essays generated from them. We keep these to run the service, count your allowance, and improve reliability.
  • Operational records — timestamps, error logs, and a hashed (not raw) network address used for abuse prevention.

Tools that work without an account — the calculator, the guides — collect nothing; anything they save stays in your browser.

Who processes it

Three services handle data on our behalf, each for one job:

  • Supabase — accounts and database hosting.
  • Stripe — payments. Your card details go to Stripe directly; we never see them.
  • Anthropic — essay generation. The text you submit to the essay writer is sent to Anthropic's API to produce the essay. It is not used to train their models.

What we don't do

  • Sell or share your data with advertisers.
  • Read your essays for any reason beyond running and debugging the service.
  • Email you anything that isn't about your account or a receipt.

Retention, access, deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Email support@vcehub.com.au to get a copy of your data or to delete your account — deletion removes your profile, study data, and generation history, subject to records we must keep for payments.

Under 18

Most of our users are. We collect the minimum, and paying for a subscription requires a parent or guardian's permission. Parents and guardians can use the same address above for access or deletion requests about their child's account.

The formal bit

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If these practices change materially, we'll note it here with a new date. Questions or complaints: support@vcehub.com.au.
